If your marketing has felt off lately—less exciting, less engaging, maybe even a little… stale— that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It might just mean you’re ready for something new.

Plateaus are part of growth.

You know the feeling. You're creating, building, feeling good, and suddenly things slow down and maybe you swear you can even hear a few crickets. BUT things are actually still on the move, so don't give up!

More often than not, those quiet moments are actually a sign that you’re outgrowing the old way of doing things.

Something I've seen over and over is business owners so hungry for success they THROW it all at the wall without having a plan in place. This can cause mass chaos in your systems, processes, and even your profits; so if that feels even a tiny bit like you, try starting with this instead of trying to do it all and the kitchen sink. ☺️

Come back to what’s working—for your people and for you.

Now, before you jump into revamping your entire asset library, start with the current momentum you have (yes, even if it feels teeny tiny!) to lead yourself into future with purpose.

Here are 3 questions to reconnect with what’s actually working in your marketing:

  1. What content or offers are people consistently engaging with? Look at your past 30-60 days—what’s been getting replies, shares, sign-ups, or even just quiet saves? These are the messages that are still hitting home. Lean into them. Build on them. Not as active on socials or online? Tune into what you've heard directly from your people in person.

  2. Where do your favorite clients come from? Not just the most leads—but the right ones. Which platforms, referrals, events, groups, or moments of connection are bringing in your kind of people? Prioritize those channels first, even if it means pausing others. This is an important step because it is a foundation for your marketing calendar and content planning throughout the year as you start to prioritize these different things.

  3. What kind of marketing feels natural to you right now? Evolving your message doesn’t mean forcing yourself into strategies that drain you, especially off the bat. Let it feel aligned. Let it feel human. That’s where your best work lives and will naturally grow into what works well. If what you're doing is working, focus on what can enhance that and grow it into new, different channels.

A freshly potted plant is being watered, just like businesses must care for their own growth efforts.

Evolution in business means discomfort—but it also leads to magic.

Growth won’t always feel cozy. Sometimes it means taking creative risks, trying something new, or speaking a little louder than you have before. But on the other side of that discomfort? There is a message that lands, an offer that connects, and a business that feels so much more like you.

So, if things feel uncertain or stretchy right now, that’s not failure—it’s feedback.

You’re not starting over. You’re just becoming more of who you’re meant to be.

Don't be fooled by the amount of technology and 'opportunities' out there to make your marketing great, or experts and agencies that promises results at a price tag. There's no guarantees in the world, but there are ways that you can prepare, build, and plant the seeds that you can sow into success ⭐️

Feeling stuck in the in-between? I’ve got you. Let’s make sure your message is evolving in the right direction, together.
